Rough search and surveys

Been trying to find info on reasons and consequences of world internet censorship. Usually I find either vague sources or sources that say what's going on but not explaining why it's being done. Still looking.

Future plans: Ask any of my foreign classmates for their input and keep looking until I find good sources and statistics. Any suggestions of sources if you know of any are more than welcomed.
